50 “How Well Do You Know Me” Questions to Ask Your Friends
21 October 2026
Everyone has that one friend who says they know you better than anyone. But do they really? These 50 questions are a fun way to find out who actually pays attention and who is just pretending.
They go from easy (your favourite food) to hard (what you’re secretly scared of). Ask them out loud at a sleepover, send them in the group chat, or turn them into a quiz and see who scores highest.
How to play
- Write down your own answers first, so nobody can say you changed them later.
- Ask your friends one question at a time, or all at once.
- Give one point for each right answer. 8 or more out of 10 is a real friend. Under 5? Hmm.
Favourites
Easy ones to warm up. A real friend should get most of these right.
- What’s my favourite food of all time?
- Which movie or show could I rewatch forever?
- Which song have I played way too many times?
- What colour do I love wearing most?
- Which season do I like the most?
- Which app do I open the most?
- Who was my favourite cartoon character?
- What’s my favourite subject at school, and which one do I hate?
- Which sport do I love watching?
- Where is my dream travel spot?
Daily life and habits
These are about the little things. Only people who spend real time with you will know.
- How many alarms do I need to wake up?
- What’s the first thing I do after waking up?
- Where did I like to sit in class?
- When do I actually study for exams?
- How long am I in the bathroom with my phone?
- How do I text: long paragraphs, one word, or voice notes?
- What’s my worst habit?
- Am I always early, on time, or late?
- What do I do when the power goes out?
- What am I like in the group chat?
Food
Everyone who has eaten with you should ace this round.
- What’s my go-to fast food?
- Which dessert would I always pick?
- Tea or coffee?
- How much spice can I handle?
- What do I do with the pizza crust?
- Which snack do I grab at the shop?
- Do I eat fast or slow?
- Which food will I never eat?
- Sweet snacks or salty snacks?
- What do I order when I can’t decide?
Memories
The best round for old friends. New friends will struggle here, and that’s part of the fun.
- What was my favourite game as a kid?
- Which cartoon did I grow up watching?
- What was my most embarrassing moment at school?
- Who was my first best friend?
- What did I want to be when I was little?
- What’s the best trip I’ve ever been on?
- What’s the funniest thing that has happened to us together?
- What do I do when mom picks up the slipper?
- Which question from relatives annoys me the most?
- Where did we first meet?
Personality and what-would-you-do
The hardest round. Getting these right means someone really knows how you think.
- What am I most scared of?
- What makes me happiest?
- What annoys me the most?
- Which superpower would I pick?
- What would I buy first if I won the lottery?
- Who do I tell big news to first?
- What am I doing at a family wedding?
- Which pet would I choose?
- Am I a morning person or a night owl?
- Would I rather stay in or go out on the weekend?
Turn it into a quiz in one minute
Asking 50 questions one by one takes forever, and people cheat by looking at each other’s answers. The Fake Friend Test does the work for you:
- You answer 10, 15, 20 or 25 questions about yourself. Many of the questions above are in it.
- You share your link on WhatsApp, Instagram or Snapchat.
- Friends guess, and only see the right answer after they pick theirs, so nobody can cheat.
- You get a scoreboard showing who knows you best, and who’s a fake friend.
It’s free, needs no app or sign-up, and works in 25 languages.

A low score doesn’t mean someone is a bad friend. Some people just have a bad memory, and new friends haven’t had time to learn everything yet. Laugh about the wrong answers, tell the story behind the right ones, and you’ll probably end up knowing each other better than before.
